LAUNCH OF SAUTISKIKA ADOLESCENT INITIATIVE KISUMU COUNTY 13/08/2016

National Empowerment Network of people living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya (NEPHAK) with support of Elizabeth Glazier Paediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) today launched Sautiskika initiative Kisumu County which took place in colourful ceremony at Imperial Hotel Kisumu .It was attended by various stakeholders in the county lead by the county goverment on matter adolescence and HIV Sautiskika is a National empowerment network of YPlHIV formed and managed by the young. They advocate for HIV awareness, strengthening of existing support groups, Meaningful involvement of YPLHIV and All in campaign (nothing for us without us) plus many more. They are represented countrywide. Kisumu, Siaya, Machakos, Nairobi, Mombasa Nakuru, Homabay, Migori. They want implementing partners to work with them, use them to get the Fast Track plan achieved. They work to alleviate HIV prevalence in the counties. They want young people and other likeminded groups to join Sautiskika to an adolescent stress free environment so that they can access services.
